Sibling Rivalry: POSE

This was a game for playing with the radio on. My sister and I and our neighbor friend would each claim a chair or couch in the living room and designate the yeller to start. We'd get to a good radio station, or use our favorite cassette, and begin. We leapt up from our chairs and began dancing to the music. The yeller would say, "Pose!" and we'd all have to find the nearest chair or couch upon which to strike a pose. Then we'd hop back up again and keep dancing until "Pose!" was yelled again.

There were no winners, just a challenge to come up with the most outrageous poses. Often they were glamourous movie star poses, but sometimes they involved both legs up or other unusual contortions.
